  • Groups of 25 or more are allowed two complementary meals. Groups of 11 to 24 are allowed one complementary meal.
  • A $10.00 non-refundable deposit is required with all plans.
  • Final Meal Count - for all meals is required 7 days prior to arrival.
  • Final Payment is due 5 days of when final count is called in.
  • All step-on guides can be met in Arcola or Arthur.
  • The charge to have a step-on guide eat with your group is th same as each meal plan.
  • The tax & tip is included in all meal plans.
  • I suggest you allow two hours shopping time in downtown Arthur & Arcola.
    The Illinois Amish Interpretive Center:
    This is the first museum in Illinois dedicated to the Amish culture. It traces the history of the Amish religion and provides a glimpse into the lives of the Illinois Amish. A fifteen minute video on the Amish culture helps to separate fact from myth about their culture. One of the oldest known Amish suits and a rare 100 year old buggy are on display along with a view of the inside of a typical Amish home. A gift shop is located on site as well as restrooms. This is a good way to start a visit to Illinois Amish Country, it is located in Arcola, Illinois.

    Arthur/Amish Country Tour:
    A step-on guide will get in your vehicle, explain the history, culture and lifestyles of Illinois' largest Amish settlement. As you tour the Amish countryside viewing the Amish farms, you may see teams of Belgium horses in the fields. A scheduled stop at one of the country shops is always a treat. The tour begins in Arthur, Illinois.
    Allow 1.5 Hours
    Groups of 25 or more $1.80 per person.
    Groups of 10 to 24 $2.50 per person.


    Amish Meal:
    Sit at long tables as one big, happy family and enjoy the warmth of a country meal. Family style meal including chicken plus one other meat, mashed potatoes & gravy, dressing or noodles, salad vegetable, homemade bread w/apple butter, pie & drink. Located on an Amish farm in the country around Arthur, Illinois.

    Amish Home:
    Tour the home of an Amish family. Check out hardwood floors, gas lighting, gas stove and refrigerator. Houses are sparsely furnished, furniture is plain colored, with no prints. Curtains are plain cotton curtains, no drapes. Wall decorations are limited to calendars and framed religious sayings, but no pictures.
    Allow (1 hour)
    Group Rate $3.00 per person.


    Rockome Gardens:
    Admission includes free buggy ride. Enjoy quaint shops and attractions, stroll the gardens, relax on a buggy ride.
    Group Rate $8.00 per person.


    Yoders Country Kitchen:
    Sit and enjoy a meal in this Amish/Mennonite restaurant located on the edge of Arthur. You will enjoy homemade food cooked and served by Amish and Mennonite ladies. Apple butter and Amish peanut butter are on each table.
